How to iron a shirt in no time

Ironing a shirt in five minutes? It can be done! Here we reveal the three secrets to iron a shirt at best, in no time. If you add to these also a good dose of experience and, why not, of patience, everything will be easier!

  • Cuffs. Time: 45 seconds

First iron the inside, then the outside, from the edges to the inside. The double cuffs should be ironed flat.

  • Carré. Time: 25 seconds

It is advisable to use the narrow part of the ironing board to facilitate the operation.

  • Collar. Ironing time: 25 seconds

It should be placed well open and flat upon the ironing board: first the inside, then the outside. To avoid bends at the edges, it is best to start from the tips, to be ironed outwards, and proceed towards the center.

  •  Sleeves. Ironing time: 90 seconds

Start from the shoulder and then go down to the cuff. The use of the sleeveboard, in which to insert the sleeve, helps to reduce wrinkles.

  •  Front of the shirt. Ironing time: 70 seconds

First the side without buttons, starting from the bottom upwards, then to the one with the buttons. The front part is inserted into the trousers, detail that allows us to stretch it quickly and without particular worries. The same is true for the area around the buttons because once closed they will hide the inside.

  •  Rear. Ironing time: 45 seconds

The lower part of the shirt should be ironed in the same way as the front one, because it will be tucked into your pants. The movement of the ideal iron is from the bottom upwards, only once.

Remember also some simple tips: during all the ironing the steam button of the iron is a precious ally, to be used at short and regular intervals. With the most stubborn creases, instead, use a spray to moisten the area.  And now, ready to put yourself to the test and show off a perfect look with the Andrum shirts?
